Outdoor Kids & Family Photos
Outdoor sessions are weather-dependent, but fun. I have a few favorite green spaces, or we can go to one of yours. We don’t need much, just a place for the kids to run. Outdoor sessions are usually about 45-60 minutes long.
We’ll take a little walk together and first take a few traditional portraits, while the little ones are still able to sit still for a moment. That patience is probably going to wear off quickly, 10-20 minutes, I’d say, and then I’ll just document them doing what they do.
We will carry them for a bit, throw them in the air — {that would be the royal we;)} — the more attention they get from you, the better. Now is when the camera and I get ignored, unless I’ll usher you into better light or give you little posing hints, that is.
Some children will be relaxed enough by the end, to allow for a few more posed portraits. The kids are going to be boss. We will work around them. It doesn’t help us to pressure them, as we need them to be content. Usually, attention from their parents is something, which makes them happy.
We can also do outdoor sessions in the form of a walk through the city, or playtime in your backyard.

MINI SESSIONS
Mini sessions are between 15 and 25 minutes long. They are meant to just get a good shot for your holiday card. If you book a full family lifestyle session, 10-15 min. holiday mini sessions are free during my set holiday session dates (as space is available).
