COVID Safety Measures
This page may soon become outdated, but just for your peace of mind, I’ve had covid a few times and I’m triple-vaccinated. 🙌
Unless you’re also vaccinated (or if you prefer, just because it makes you feel better), I can wear my mask indoors. However, there are few notes.
1) Since I am taking photos of you, you won’t be able to wear a mask. This means, kindly inform me if anyone is feeling sick beforehand. Even if it is on the day of the shoot.
2) Especially when photographing small children, I may have to pull the mask down on occasion to show them a smile in order to connect and make them feel at ease. I’ll do this only when at a safe distance.
3) If you have anyone in the house who is immunocompromised, please let me know, as well. I’d like to be extra (OCD-level) mindful, if that’s the case.
Needless to say, this is all much easier when outdoors, however, indoor sessions do bring a special touch to the images. We will be able to create memories that include your home, which, like your kids, changes over the years (details like the pictures on the fridge, pieces of furniture that come and go, little knick-knacks, etc.). Also, it is the place your children are most comfortable in, thus creating a perfect environment for capturing natural images.
