My Story
I come from a long line of photographers going back into 1800s Europe. I like to say, photography is in my genes, although, my father would probably argue that I could very well have followed the paternal line into a medical profession.
Luckily, he never forced his will upon mine and I moved from Austria to New York City to study photography when I was 21 years old. After my studies, I worked in IT for many years, keeping photography on the side lines.
In 2013, after losing my husband and being reminded of how short life can be, I turned away from all distractions and focused on my photography business full-time. Best decision ever! Following your calling is not only fulfilling, it also does wonders for your overall well-being.
I have exhibited my work on several occasions and have been lucky to have been featured online and in print various times. However, what brings me the greatest joy, is to read my clients’ feedback when they receive their photos. I’m a people pleaser, what can I say?
